Part-Time Accountant / Bookkeeper (20 Hours per Week) – Rockingham

We are currently seeking an experienced Part-Time Accountant / Bookkeeper to join our team for approximately 20 hours per week. This role offers flexible working hours, making it ideal for someone seeking a better work-life balance or a lifestyle-focused role.
About You
You will be degree-qualified (or working towards CPA – desirable but not essential) and demonstrate:
* Experience with MYOB products
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
* The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a job-sharing environment
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Previous retail experience (desirable but not essential)
Key Responsibilities
1. Preparation of financial statements, including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheets
2. Maintenance of asset registers
3. Balance sheet reconciliations, including provisions
4. Review and assistance with BAS, GST, and ATO compliance obligations
5. Overseeing hospitality booking and reservation systems
6. Supporting administration of labour hire and machinery operations
7. Managing a variety of client accounting needs on an ongoing basis
8. Processing accounts payable, receivable, and payroll functions
9. Performing
