Key responsibilities include:
* Installing and maintaining electrical systems and equipment associated with a wide range of electrical systems
* Installing, terminating and commissioning automation equipment such as PLC's, motors, process instrumentation & HMI's.
* Installing, terminating and commissioning major LV power upgrades up to 3200A, including the installation of large mains cables, MDB's and MCC's.
* Installing, terminating and commissioning safety systems including, safety PLC's, safety relays, Estops, gate switches, safety lanyards etc.
* Troubleshooting and repairing electrical faults
* Working within a fantastic team environment to complete major projects
* Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and project documentation
* Ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Qualifications and experience required:
* A - Grade Electrical License
* White card
* EWP Yellow and High Risk
* Experience in an industrial electrical environment encouraged but not essential
* Experience in installing cable ladder, mains cabling and distribution boards.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
* A commitment to safety and a proactive attitude towards safety in the workplace
