What's involved
* Lead and develop team members and apprentices
* Work hands-on work with your team in daily garden maintenance tasks
* Ensure work is completed to a high standard and within set timeframes.
* Operate and maintain tools, machinery, and vehicles
* Report progress, issues, and requirements to management
* Pest and disease identification and treatment
* Foster a culture of safety
What you’ll bring:
You will be a mature and reliable leader with high attention to detail. You enjoy being hands on with your team and passing on your extensive knowledge and experience to others.
* Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens, or relevant equivalent experience
* Proven ability to effectively prioritise work and develop junior team members
* Sound practical experience with a variety of tools and equipment such as mowers, hedgers, whipper snippers, blowers, hand tools and petrol operated equipment
* Current driver's licence
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
