We operate in all states of Australia and our employees work in all industries. We are actively seeking dedicated Multi-Skilled Mobile Plant Operators to join our Black Coal Mining Team. You will be part of a motivated crew working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that operations run smoothly and safely. Requirements: Minimum 12 months’ experience in mining or civil earthworks Proficiency in operating multiple machines: Loader,Dozer,Grader, Excavator Coal Board Medical (CBM) Standard 11 (S11) Relevant RII competencies Strong focus on safety, efficiency, and team collaboration Key Responsibilities: Operate a range of equipment including loaders, dozers, graders, and excavators Haulage and treatment of reject materials to the DREA emplacement area Perform compaction and grading of rejects with dozers, graders, compactors, and water trucks Maintain approximately 8km of haul roads, ensuring safe, stable, and dust-free conditions Conduct pre-start checks, defect reporting, and ensure equipment is clean and well-maintained Follow all site safety, environmental, and operational procedures Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members across rotating shifts Benefits: $55/hr - $60/hr Supportive camp accommodation Fixed term contract including annual leave Surface operations only – no underground work Long-term, stable opportunity on a consistent roster Night shift may be considered on a case-by-case basis About us: Workfast is a labour-hire company working with some of Australia's largest companies.
