Monadelphous is seeking an experienced Welding Supervisor to support our Coastal & West Pilbara Operations Core Crew. This is an exciting opportunity to join our Inland Structural Integrity project on Rio Tinto's Fixed Plant Equipment as a crucial member of the team. This project is dedicated to the remediation of corrosion to the assets through blast & painting and welding disciplines. The successful candidate will supervise and inspect welding works by ensuring tasks are carried out effectively, within budget, and to highest standards of quality and safety. This is a casual position on an 8:6 roster, FIFO from Perth. We encourage First nations people and female applicants to apply.

Key Responsibilities
* Supervision of the welding crew working on Rio Tinto Fixed Plant Assets
* Acting as a first point of call for our blue collar employees
* Providing effective guidance and support for welding techniques
* Liaising between client representatives and QA/QC personnel
* Assistance with managing Inspect Test Plans, Field Inspection Check sheets and welding related documents
* Ensuring all welding tasks are completed in accordance with industry standards
What you'll bring
* AS 1796 Welding Supervisors Certificate 10 is essential
* NACE, CSWIIP or other QA/QC tickets are highly desirable
* S26 Statutory Supervisor Certificate is highly desirable
* 2-5 years experience in a site supervision role within Iron Ore industry
* Experience with Structural Integrity Projects is desirable
* Sound knowledge of RTIO Welding standards and procedures
* Developed communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate your team effectively with a focus on safety
