Youth Homelessness Support Specialist
This specialist role supports young adults (18-24) who experience housing instability and/or homelessness. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree with specialization in social, behavioral, or human services, as well as at least one year of professionally supervised work in mental health, chemical dependency and/or social services.
The Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program agencies collaborate with this specialist to provide individualized client-driven support. This includes determining program and housing eligibility, program enrollment, housing coordination with local Public Housing Authorities, other community housing organizations, and through private landlord engagement.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 – 5:00pm
This is a non-exempt position with a minimum-starting wage $18.00 per hour.
