Technical Support Engineer with Qld State Gov!

Our client is a state government department based in Newstead.
They are looking for an Technical Support Officer an initial 8 month contract.
Your new role
* Travel to locations throughout QLD to support users with on-site level 1 and level 2 IT support, migrate iOS devices to Intune, complete health checks for Windows 11 updates and complete device changeovers in line with the annual asset replacement program.
* Complete fault finding and issue resolution tasks in relation to iOS devices, Intune, Microsoft Configuration Manager, Windows 11 and Windows 11 updates, and MDM enrolment.
* Manually update Windows 10 devices to Windows 11 where required.
* Assist users to migrate their mobile devices to Intune in one-on-one support sessions.
* Assist users with iOS device manual backups to meet data retention requirements.
* Assist with end point device network connections.
* Support the project team with contributions to work schedule timing, considering task timing, travel requirements and regional office staff engagements.
* Work with the project team to create, maintain and distribute project documentation.
* Coordinate activities so that outcomes are achieved in an effective and efficient manner.
What you'll need to succeed
* Industry qualifications in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Office Productivity Suite and ITIL.
* Experience with user support in complex environments
* Experience with Windows 11 updates through Software Centre
* Experience with SCCM and AD
* Experience working with CAB and change management frameworks
* Experience with Intune configuration, enrolment and issue resolution
* Experience with Mobile Device Management platforms and migrations
