As a Fugal Operator at Wilmar Sugar & Renewables, you will be working as part of our sugar production team, where you'll transform raw ingredients into raw sugar. You'll work alongside great colleagues, tackle exciting challenges, and enjoy a lively atmosphere filled with teamwork.
This is a permanent position in our sugar processing factory which requires shift work during the crushing season (June - December), including weekends, overtime and day work during the maintenance period (Jan - May).
Your Role in Action
* Produce Raw Sugar and C seed/magma that consistently satisfies quality and technical standards with minimal disruption to operations and product loss.
* Work in conjunction and communicate effectively with the Mill management, Pan Boilers and Shift Team.
* Sample, inspect and perform basic analysis on sugar and molasses streams.
* Maintain excellent housekeeping practices around fugal station to ensure a safe work environment.
* Perform regular inspection of plant, equipment and complete maintenance request as required.
* Complete logbooks, charts and any other data collection required by management.
Your Winning Combination
Our ideal candidate must be an excellent communicator and have basic maintenance skills.

* Confined Space Entry
* Maintenance skills which are also highly desirable include: Trade qualifications, Rigger, Dogger and Scaffolder High Risk Work Licences.
