About the Role:
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Assistant plays a key role in enhancing the Club's visibility and engagement through a broad range of marketing and promotion activities. This hands-on position works closely with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure consistent and impactful messaging aligned with the Clubs strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting in content creation, scheduling, and management for social media and digital platforms.
* Supporting the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, events, and promotions.
* Conducting market research and analysis to inform marketing strategies.
* Ensuring brand consistency across all marketing channels and customer touch points.
* Design and implement signage and special offers for ongoing promotions and club events, maintaining brand consistency and enhancing member engagement.
* Design, update, and manage digital blade and digital signage content with clear and engaging messaging.
* Produce short-form video content, including Reels, TikToks, and promotional videos.
* Edit video content (short and long form) and undertake basic sound editing as required.
* Confidently appear on camera to assist with filming, hosting, or participating in video content and social media reels.
* Contribute to content ideation by identifying creative concepts, trends, and opportunities — not limited to execution only.
* Work with internal teams and external vendors to enhance event visibility and attendance, helping to deliver memorable experiences for all participants.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* A team player who's proactive and keen to learn.
Desirable Skills and Attributes:
* Experience in Marketing and Promotion (essential)
* Experience with Canva, Meta Business Suite, Illustrator, Word press (highly recommended).
* Intermediate experience with digital, social media platforms and design programs.
* Available to work according to rosters provided and weekends as needed.
* Familiarity and understand the promotional games and activities within the Club.
* Analytical skills to interpret data and develop actionable insights.
