This is a great opportunity for a Senior Associate Corporate & Commercial Lawyer who wants to choose their own path.
This is a highly respected and awarded Corp/Comm practice with over 10 Partners and Special Counsels in Brisbane. The team covers the spectrum of M&A and capital raising, commercial and technology contracting, intellectual property, tax, and business structuring matters. The various Partners have their own sector specialisations, and across them, their clients include major international and Australian corporates (ASX-listed & Private), government, NGO and NFP entities, major sporting clubs, education, aged care, agriculture, tech and fintech, property, and energy & gas businesses.
They are busy across the board and operate with a ‘pooled model’ structure, which means you have the flexibility to work with any of the Partners. Coming in as a Senior Associate, the benefit for you is the ability to choose which sectors and areas of practice to specialise in (or to embrace the variety of working across the whole lot).
The firm fosters a distinctly entrepreneurial environment and the Partners put a strong emphasis on their Lawyers having a high degree of client contact – more than you see at most of the major mid-tier firms. They focus on building the profiles of the individual Lawyers, not just on the overall brand of the firm. You won’t be micromanaged, you’ll have autonomy to manage your own workload while having an open door when you need assistance.
