About You
We are looking for a Project Manager based in Gold Coast, Queensland. This is a full-time role reporting to the Operations Manager for New Equipment (NE) and Modernization (MOD).
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and administer Otis NE & MOD contracts according to Otis' 'Sales Installation Process' (SIP).
* Set objectives, assign tasks, review performance, and maintain staffing and resource plans.
* Recruit, develop, and motivate field labor teams, setting standards and coaching for high performance.
* Ensure installation teams adhere to approved site programs, attend meetings, and exercise authority over field labor.
* Develop and maintain relationships with customers, inspectors, consultants, and internal teams to address business challenges and propose solutions.
* Complete and submit reports, contract records, site diaries, accident reports, timesheets, and manpower charts as per policies and regulations.
* Proactively report project risks and issues, participate in monthly reviews with branch and head office.
Qualifications and Skills
* Preferably a tertiary qualification in Building or Engineering, or an Electrical/Mechanical Trade Certificate.
* Minimum of five (5) years' experience in project management of lift and escalator installations.
* Effective stakeholder engagement with sales, project teams, clients, and consultants.
* Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
* Ability to work safely, efficiently, and autonomously in a dynamic environment.
* Strong work ethic, commitment to excellence, and innovative mindset.
