About the Role
As a Business Analyst in the Financial Crime team, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of large process improvement changes and BAU/project initiatives. This includes ensuring each initiative is delivered in a stable and sustainable manner, while delivering the best experience to stakeholders.
The role is part of the Financial Crime Delivery and MI team that provides support to ensure strategic and operational objectives are achieved and in line with agreed service offerings.
This includes leading the delivery of small/medium process improvement changes and BAU/project initiatives, ensuring the Financial Crime delivery framework and governance is followed for every change, and ensuring all risk in change and ANZ Delivery Framework (ADF) activities are completed with the correct level of governance.
What You Will Do
* Lead and deliver small/medium sized initiatives E2E – including but not limited to; requirements gathering, solution design, project planning, project governance, business implementation activities and executing risk in change processes.
* Support Senior business analysts in the delivery of medium and larger sized initiatives
* Contribute to Delivery Excellence to increase the delivery capability within the Delivery team and within the Financial crime Portfolio.
* Identify and understand the business problem and the impact of the proposed solution on the organisation's operations.
* E nsure adherence to the FCP Delivery framework and the ANZ delivery and governance framework
* Leverage business analysis skills to define and articulate business and customer needs and drivers to inform decision making, assess and design solution outcomes & identify capability gaps (people, process and technological).
* Manage effective and efficient delivery and managing risks, issues and dependencies.
* Stakeholder management including management of project stakeholders across FCP and divisions.
* Contribute to the triaging of new work requests, to determine and document all impacts.
Requirements

* Experience in facilitating requirements elicitation and documentation.
* Experience in translating business requirements into user stories and support technical development and testing of solution.
* Emerging capabilities in evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, and developing and implementing solutions
* Supported the creation and management of business implementation activities including risk in change activities for large and larger sized initiatives.
* Experience in change management activities and techniques.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, with emerging influencing and relationship building ability
* Supported the facilitation of training to stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.
* Emerging capabilities in project delivery methodologies (agile, waterfall)
* Strong project delivery, governance and change management experience
