You will play a key role in delivering practical, compliant, and commercially balanced employee relations advice, while contributing to enterprise-wide ER/IR capability and frameworks.
Reporting to the Employee Relations Manager, you will manage various complex and high-risk employee and industrial relations matters across a diverse workforce.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing complex ER cases and investigations
* Providing expert advice on legislation, awards, and agreements
* Partnering with senior leaders and wider HR team with confidential and sensitive matters
* Identifying trends and proactively managing risk
* Coaching managers and HR teams to build ER capability
* Ensuring strong governance, compliance, and documentation
About You
You are a confident, commercially minded ER professional with strong judgement and credibility at senior levels.
You will also bring:
* Strong knowledge of Australian employment and industrial relations law
* Proven experience managing complex investigations and disputes
* Ability to work independently in high-pressure environments
* Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
* High-level written and verbal communication capability
* Ability to act with pace whilst ensuring high attention to detail
Experience & Qualifications
* Degree in Law, HR, Industrial Relations, or related discipline an advantage
* At least 4 years' experience in ER specialist role
* Background in large and complex organisations would be preferred
* Strong experience in compliance, risk, and governance
