Food Service Assistant, Services
We are seeking dedicated employees to join our team in a residential aged care facility. The Service Employee-Cleaner is responsible for conducting a broad range of cleaning and/or laundry activities under the general direction of the Facility Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure a safe work environment by adopting safe work practices.
* Maintain good working relationships with staff, residents, and families.
* Work within the mission statement and philosophy to achieve the highest possible standard of care for residents.
* Maintain employee, consumer, and organisational confidentiality.
* Participate in meetings and discussions in a constructive manner.
* Work as part of a busy team and be supportive of other team members.
* Prioritise workload and use care resources effectively and efficiently.
* Adhere to legislation pertaining to privacy and confidentiality and handling of personal information.
What You Need:
* Aged Care Quality Standards knowledge (or ability to acquire this).
* Satisfactory national police check within the last three months.
* Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People registration with NDIS endorsement.
* If on a visa, a copy of current IMM I Letter.
