* The Senior Biostatistician will play a key role in designing, planning and analyzing linked health data to support the research projects TRANSFORM and POST.

The incumbent will be responsible for managing and analyzing large complex health datasets, developing machine learning models, and providing scientific and statistical direction to the project team.

Key Responsibilities:
">
">
* Design, plan and analyze linked health data to support the research projects TRANSFORM and POST.
">
* Manage and analyze large complex health datasets using SAS.
">
* Develop machine learning models to establish associations between different treatment variables and health-related outcomes.
">
* Provide scientific and statistical direction to the project team.
">
* Collaborate with researchers to develop and implement research designs and analytical approaches.
">
">
Requirements:
">
">
* Postgraduate degree in statistics, biostatistics, epidemiology, pharmacoepidemiology or a related discipline.
">
* At least 5 years' experience in the development of machine learning models including data build.
">
* Demonstrated experience in the management and analysis of large complex health datasets.
">
* Highly developed data analysis skills and experience in using SAS.
">
* Demonstrated ability to independently and accurately perform complex statistical analyses.
">
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
">
* Ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive data.
">
