You communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, adapt quickly to new technologies, and bring a collaborative and solutions-focused approach to strengthening UQ's cyber security capability.You will bring:* Qualifications in IT or a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and training.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated application of cyber security policies, procedures, and standards.* Practical knowledge in areas such as endpoint, email, cloud, or network security, digital forensics, risk management, or SIEM platforms.* Excellent written communication skills with the ability to produce clear technical and user documentation.* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively and manage competing priorities under pressure.* A willingness to innovate and adopt new processes and technologies, with added value from skills such as project coordination, automation, or mentoring.The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre-employment checks, including: right to work in Australia, criminal check, education check, etc.You must maintain unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this appointment to apply.
