Senior Manager – Data Security Information and Governance Our central Information Governance team plays a vital role in supporting Macquarie’s diverse groups to manage risks associated with data retention, data sovereignty, and information security. Our team is responsible for maintaining an enterprise-wide framework and providing advice and tools to enable efficient and scalable information governance practices across the organisation.

What role will you play? As a Senior Manager in Information Governance, you will support senior management in implementing high-quality information governance across the enterprise. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, you will ensure alignment with internal policies, frameworks, and jurisdictional regulatory requirements. You will maintain enterprise-wide tools to support information governance processes, provide advice on frameworks to global stakeholders, and contribute to the continuous improvement of governance practices. You will collaborate with teams across the organisation to promote best practices, ensure compliance with industry and international standards, and help drive operational excellence in a highly regulated environment.
What You Offer
Sound knowledge and experience in information governance, including records and information management, data sovereignty frameworks, and working with business classification schemes
Exposure to and understanding of technology platforms and solutions underpinning information governance
A collaborative approach with a proactive and problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a global business environment
Strong skills in Microsoft 365 applications, including PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, and Excel
Experience in a complex business setting, preferably in financial services or other highly regulated industries
Tertiary qualifications in information management are valuable
