Senior Occupational Therapist - Opportunity to Diversify Clinical Experience
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team in Alice Springs. As a senior member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with diverse caseloads and develop your clinical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality occupational therapy services to clients with complex needs and challenging behaviors. You will work collaboratively with other health professionals to develop and implement holistic support plans that meet the unique needs of each client.
In addition to providing direct client services, you will also be responsible for mentoring and supervising junior staff members, contributing to the development of policies and procedures, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current certification. You will also need to have experience working within a disability sector context, as well as strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
You will be able to demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively, as well as experience in implementing evidence-based frameworks and delivering holistic supports. A current Ochre Card, Criminal History Check, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, First Aid certificate, evidence of Australian work rights, and an NT Drivers Licence are also required.
