The opportunity
As a Vetting Manager in our EY Defence Vetting Team, you will lead a team of Vetting Analysts, managing complex personal security clearance processes across various security levels, including Baseline, Negative Vetting Level 1, Negative Vetting Level 2, and Positive Vetting. Our roles can be flexible, with options for reduced hours to balance work and personal life. Please discuss potential arrangements with us.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Supervise a high-performing team, assessing security clearance cases and utilizing your vetting experience to enhance team capabilities.
* Ensure meticulous processing of security clearances, adhering to the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and EY best practices.
* Conduct Quality Assurance checks on Personal Security Files (PSFs) to ensure compliance with standards and policies.
* Manage caseloads efficiently and effectively.
* Coach, mentor, and develop Analysts and Senior Analysts, including onboarding new team members.
* Document and provide data-driven advice on clearance outcomes, maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
What We Look For
To be considered for this role, you should have:
* Extensive vetting experience in government or high-security environments, including conducting face-to-face interviews as required by the clearance type.
* A minimum of Negative Vetting Level 1 clearance, with potential to upgrade to Level 2.
* Certificate IV in Government (Personnel Security Vetting).
