Claims Assessor - Ancillary
We're looking for two detail-focused Claims Assessors to join our Ancillary Claims team. In this role, you'll assess and process health insurance claims for services such as dental, optical and physiotherapy, ensuring our members receive the correct benefits quickly and accurately. Who are we?

What will you do? / How will you help?
* Accurately and efficiently assess ancillary health insurance claims
* Process high volumes of claims through allocated queues
* Ensure claims are paid in line with fund rules, contracts and benefit limits
* Respond to member and provider enquiries via email or written correspondence
* Maintain strong knowledge of fund benefits and assessment guidelines
* Contribute to a collaborative team environment and continuous improvement initiatives
* Work in line with compliance, risk, WHS and organisational KPIs
What do you need? / What are we looking for?
Essential
* Strong data entry or processing experience in a high-volume environment
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a team
* Strong written communication skills
* Willingness to adapt and learn as systems and processes evolve
* Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident visa required
Desirable
* Experience in claims, health insurance or a similar assessment role
* Knowledge of medical terminology or assessing procedures
* Experience using systems such as HAMBS or Civica
The salary package (inc of super) for this role is $92,902.
