Overview
Fixed Plant Refinery Production Operator. Permanent, full-time position – Rutherford, NSW. 28-day roster cycle with 12-hour continuous shifts: 5 on 5 off / 4 on 5 off / 5 on 4 off. Pay rate: $48.89 per hour.
Responsibilities
* Efficient operation and monitoring of the used lubrication oil refinery.
* Loading and unloading of trucks and transferring of bulk oil products.
* Conduct sample analysis and diagnose faults in plant and equipment.
* Maintain efficient plant operations and a safe, clean work site.
* Complete paperwork, data entry and records; issue work permits as required.
Skills and Experience
* Great attitude with a willingness to learn.
* Operate and monitor refinery processes and raw materials.
* Start up and shut down processes of the refinery and pretreatment operations.
* Proficient in maths and English; mechanical aptitude.
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug test.
* Chemical handling highly regarded; forklift licence advantageous.
