About the Role
Our Client is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team on a 12-month contract. This role will focus on surface facility design and providing critical technical support, including communication and coordination with design consultancies.
Key Responsibilities
Lead surface facility design activities and provide hands-on technical support.
Coordinate and establish communication with design consultancies to ensure project objectives are met.
Conduct critical reviews, design reviews, and HAZOP participation to ensure robust and safe engineering outcomes.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers where required.
Perform detailed and incisive engineering reviews, ensuring high standards of technical accuracy and compliance.
Required Qualifications & Experience
10–15 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience in the Oil & Gas sector.
Robust experience in Coal Seam Gas (CSG) projects.
Must hold RPEQ certification.
Proven experience with critical reviews, design reviews, and HAZOP studies.
Comfortable delivering thorough, decisive engineering assessments.
