Position Overview: As a Learning & Development Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing, analysing, and addressing current and future learning needs within the organisation. You will design, deliver, and manage a variety of learning programs and initiatives, ranging from face-to-face sessions to eLearning content. Additionally, you will serve as the subject matter expert for all L&D matters, providing guidance and support to stakeholders across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Review and analyse current and future learning and development needs, including Personal Development Plans (PDP) and L&D requests.
2. Design and deliver (or facilitate the delivery of) learning and development solutions to meet organisational objectives.
3. Manage face-to-face learning offerings, including HBDI, First Nations Cultural Awareness, and other relevant programs.
4. Oversee and communicate our learning catalogue and mandatory compliance training requirements.
5. Manage the Leadership Development program, including Leadership Circle, Leadership Masterclasses, and Conflict Management workshops.
6. Coordinate and manage our Coaching program to support employee growth and development.
7. Review and develop eLearning content to align with business needs and objectives.
8. Manage the learning aspects of our Spark (ELMO) system, including course management, invitations, attendance recording, and CPD tracking.
9. Provide support for technical legal training initiatives within the organisation.
10. Serve as the L&D subject matter expert, possessing a sound knowledge of company policies and procedures.
11. Coach and advise stakeholders on best practices in learning and development.
12. Manage communications, completion rates, and responses to the annual People Matter survey to drive employee engagement and satisfaction.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Education, or related field.
* Proven experience in learning and development roles, preferably in a similar industry or sector.
* Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
* Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and eLearning authoring tools.
* Project management experience and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
* Commitment to staying updated on industry trends and best practices in L&D.
