About The Opportunity
We are now looking for a Civil Draftsperson with 5+ years’ experience to join our team at either the Central Coast or Sydney office.
With the wide variety of land development, high end residential and infrastructure projects ADW Johnson is involved with, there will be an opportunity to work on diverse projects in a supportive and stimulating environment.
Reporting directly to the Drafting Coordinator some of your responsibilities will include:
* Plan drafting and communicating with the supervisor in relation to job status;
* Liaising with your supervisor and other staff in relation to workload planning and drafting instructions;
* The ability to work effectively and collaboratively as part of a project team;
* Support project teams in problem-solving and design modifications when necessary;
* Site inspections and liaising with contractors; and
* Completing quality assurance checklists.

About You
With proven experience as a Civil Draftsperson, you will also have experience with/in:
* Proven 5+ years’ experience as a Civil Draftsperson or similar role in an engineering firm;
* An industry related qualification;
* Proficiency in AutoCAD;
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment;
* Strong work ethic and a high attention to detail; and
* Australian Citizen or Australian Resident with full work rights.
