OverviewProject Planning & Controls Professionals – Location Flexible (Various Experience Levels) at BAE Systems AustraliaJoin to apply for the Project Planning & Controls Professionals role at BAE SystemsResponsibilitiesBeing a subject matter expert (SME) providing support to other PP&C Professionals by applying specialist toolset knowledge – Primavera P6, Cobra, OracleContributing to the development and maintenance of the Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and associated WBS DictionariesContributing to the establishment and maintenance of approved cost and schedule Project Management Baselines (PMB)Managing/processing approved baseline changesContributing to the development and maintenance of control account structures and associated Responsibility Assignment Matrices (RAM)Undertaking detailed planning activities, including rolling wave planning and developing Control Account Plans (CAP)Contributing to monthly reporting activities including capturing actuals, status, Estimates to Complete (ETC), and variance analysisSupporting Estimate at Completion (EAC) activities and providing SME advice to CAMs with regard to development and consolidation of program-wide dataProviding support to Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR) and EVMS surveillance reviews as directed by the Project Planning and Controls ManagerEnsuring the correct utilisation of Earned Value Management standards, processes, and systems to enable timely and accurate monitoring, reporting and performance measurement throughout the project lifecycleAbout YouPrevious experience as a Project Controller / Project Scheduler / Cost Schedule Analyst (essential)Experience in cost management with COBRA (preferred)Strong understanding of Earned Value Management principlesExperience in scheduling/planning with Primavera P6 (preferred) or OpenPlanAbility to interact effectively with stakeholders both internal and external to BAE Systems to implement business requirementsDemonstrated ability to work autonomously under time constraints, solve problems and make decisionsExcellent communication skills both written and verbalCurrent Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtainAbout UsYou will be joining a workplace that truly cares about your wellbeing.
