Technical Training Specialist
This role involves working closely with clients to deliver comprehensive training on software applications.
* Key responsibilities include:
1. Performing full technical end-to-end installation of software applications, including server unboxing and workstation installations.
2. Undertaking Red Hat server installations and configuring servers as required.
3. Providing comprehensive virtual and on-site training to clients on the use of software applications.
4. Creating training materials and support documentation.
5. Preparing post-install reports for management.
6. Traveling across Australia for on-site installations, training, and software consultancy.
Must have strong knowledge of Windows PC Operating systems (Win 8, Win 10) and a firm understanding of Linux RedHat operating environment and SQL database knowledge. Ability to install and troubleshoot software and network configurations is essential.
Requirements:
* 5+ years of professional experience in desktop/software support or equivalent IT-related Bachelors degree
* Previous network and desktop support/service desk/training experience
* Able to manage time and work in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* A genuine interest in delivering high-quality customer service
* A positive attitude with a willingness to adapt and learn
* A current and legally recognized full car driver's license
Desirable Criteria:
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
* 2 years of experience in software training
* Formal qualifications in Information Technology or a related discipline
