Job Title: Senior Property Assessor
Our organisation is seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Property Assessor to undertake key roles in property assessment and customer service. This senior position will be responsible for maintaining timely delivery of property claims outcomes that meet or exceed customer expectations throughout the life of a claim.
Key responsibilities include liaising with claimants, repairers, and other internal/external stakeholders to drive timely decision making and life of claim outcomes. You will assess indemnity, liability of claims, costs, and the validity of building and remediation scope of works. Additionally, you will review building and remediation cause of damage reports, including geotechnical and structural engineering reports.
Requirements:
* Building Trade Qualifications and/or Loss Assessor qualification through ANZIIF
* Extensive experience in property assessing and customer service
* Comprehensive technical knowledge of insurance and loss theories and practices
* Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks, and manage competing resources and demands
* Demonstrated evidence of technical proficiency with systems, software, databases, reporting, and communication tools
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
