Audiometrist/Audiologist - Fully Qualified
The Hearing Aid Clinic is seeking a Fully Qualified Audiometrist or Audiologist to join our team in Camden and/or Narellan.
You will play a vital role in assessing and treating hearing loss, helping our clients improve their quality of life through the provision of exceptional hearing care services.
What you'll be doing
Conducting comprehensive hearing assessments, including pure tone audiometry, speech testing, and tympanometry
Selecting and fitting appropriate hearing aids and assistive listening devices based on each client's individual needs
Providing education and counselling to clients on the use and care of their hearing devices
Performing hearing aid adjustments, repairs, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated patient care
Maintaining detailed client records and reporting on clinical outcomes
What we're looking for
Formal qualifications in Audiometry or Audiology with full registration and QP number
Experience in audiometric testing, hearing aid fitting, and hearing rehabilitation
A minimum of 1-2 years experience in audiometric testing and hearing aid fitting is required
Strong clinical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide tailored solutions for each client
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centric approach
Familiarity with the latest hearing aid technologies and industry regulations
A commitment to continuing professional development and staying up-to-date with industry advancements
