Base Salary + Commission
Geelong United Basketball is seeking an energetic and commercially driven Partnerships Specialist to help grow our partnership portfolio across elite sport, community programs and major venues.
Working closely with the commercial team, this role is responsible for driving new partnership revenue, managing existing partner relationships, and supporting the delivery of high‐value commercial outcomes across assets, including Geelong Venom WNBL, Geelong United Basketball, Geelong Arena and Beyond Bank Stadium.
What you'll be doing:
* Generating new partnership opportunities through proactive outreach activity and networking
* Managing and renewing a portfolio of commercial partners
* Building and presenting tailored partnership proposals
* Owning a personal pipeline, forecasting and reporting on revenue
* Supporting the delivery of partnership assets, activations and game‐day experiences
* Representing Geelong United Basketball at events, games and business functions
About you:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in sponsorships, partnerships, sales or business development
* Confident presenter with strong phone‐based and face‐to‐face relationship‐building skills
* Highly organised, self‐motivated and comfortable working in a performance‐based environment
* Experience in sport, media, events or entertainment (advantageous, not essential)
* Skilled in proposal development (Canva / Google Slides) and pipeline management
* Connected to, or keen to build relationships within, the Geelong or Victorian business community
