Job Title: Financial Officer
This is a permanent full-time position at our company.
Key Responsibilities:
* Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, manage accounts payable and receivable
* Calculate fixed assets and depreciation, maintain general ledger
* Keep accurate financial records, establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
* Maintain up-to-date financial statements, post journal entries
* Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports, analyze data to inform business decisions
* Reconcile accounts, ensure accuracy and integrity of financial information
Requirements:
* College/CEGEP education in finance or accounting
* 1-7 months of experience in a similar role
* Ability to work independently, with strong organizational skills
* Attention to detail, ability to meet tight deadlines
* Fast-paced environment, ability to work under pressure
