Unique opportunity for a driven maintenance supervisor to join our high-performing team on a permanent basis, overseeing the day-to-day performance of both quarry businesses in the Australian Capital Territory. Reporting to and supporting Quarry Managers, this dynamic and diverse role will contribute to key areas of the quarries, including safety, environment, quality control, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead by example to foster a zero-harm safety culture across all sites and teams.
* Promote safety initiatives and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
* Work closely with the Maintenance Planner to ensure daily maintenance plans are executed efficiently.
* Oversee contractor performance and ensure compliance with requirements.
* Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work and ensure high-quality maintenance standards.
* Oversee and execute the preventative maintenance program for all fixed and mobile equipment.
* Coordinate maintenance schedules with operational demands to meet production targets.
Requirements
A degree, diploma, or trade certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical, or Boilermaking (preferred). Experience in quarrying, mining, or materials handling is essential. A minimum of 3 years' experience in a supervisory or management role. Strong background in crushing and screening equipment and heavy mobile equipment is highly regarded.
