About The Client
Our Client is a respected healthcare facility that provides essential services to the community. They maintain high-quality operational standards and require skilled trades professionals to ensure critical plant and equipment remain safe, compliant and fully functional.
Job Details
* $57 per hour
* Immediate start
* Casual to Permanent
What You Will Be Doing
* Maintaining, testing and diagnosing air conditioning, refrigeration, boiler and central plant systems.
* Supporting fire systems, medical equipment, BMS monitoring and healthcare facility services.
* Delivering planned, corrective and reactive maintenance, including minor new works and documentation.
* Complying with WHS and Queensland Health standards while working across mixed hours and an on-call roster.
* Working collaboratively with apprentices, assistants, contractors and internal staff.
What You Will Need
* QLD drivers licence and Certificate III in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
* Arctic Full Refrigerant Handling Licence and Restricted Electrical Licence.
* QBCC Occupational Licence (or ability to obtain within 3 months).
* Ability to join an on-call roster (1 week every 45 weeks).
* Relevant experience in healthcare facilities is advantageous.
* Ability or willingness to obtain Working at Heights, EWP and Confined Space.
* Compliance with Vaccine Preventable Disease requirements.
