**About the role**:
Our Waste team provide an important service to the community. We currently have a number of positions available across a range of skill areas working across both the Busselton and Dunsborough waste facility sites.
**FULL TIME**
**Waste Facility Team Member (Gatehouse)**
The first point of call for members of the public and contractors arriving to the Waste Facility, providing exceptional customer service and using point of sale systems. You will also be responsible for the recycling adjacent to the gatehouse. You will work a 9 day fortnight between the hours of 7:15am till 4:15pm and will be required to work every second weekend. You will be required to work across both waste facilities, but will be mostly based in Dunsborough
For this position you will need to have customer service and point of sale experience. You will also be able to be physically able to shift and move the additional recycling items for storage and collection. You will need a C class licence.
**FULL TIME & FULL TIME FIXED TERM (6 months)**
**Waste & Collection Operative**
Operate machinery including the hook lift truck, loader and compactor, waste collection vehicles and semi (if licenced). You will work a 9 day fortnight and between the following hours depending on what plant you are driving; 5:30am-2:30pm and 7:15am and 4:15pm and will be required to work every second weekend. You will be required to work across both Busselton and Dunsborough facilities.
**CASUAL**
**Waste & Collection Operative**
Operate machinery including the hook lift truck, loader and compactor waste collection vehicles and semi (if licenced). Hours will vary according to business requirements. You will be required to work across both Busselton and Dunsborough facilities.
**What you will need to succeed**:
- Previous experience operating heavy trucks, plant and / or machinery ideally in a similar waste position or related field of work.
- Current HR/HC/MC class driver's licence.
- Strong customer service focus, including well-developed communication skills and the ability to interact positively with people at all levels.
- Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team.
- Construction Safety Awareness (White Card)
- Flexibility to start work at various locations and willingness to undertake whatever tasks are operationally required.
- The ability to provide a National Police Clearance no more than 6 months old.
