Senior Asset Manager
Managing Director @ scouted. Property Development, Real Estate Investment and Funds Management Recruitment. This privately owned investment and development group has built a reputation for owning, managing, and developing some of Australia's most recognised retail and commercial assets. Their approach is long‑term, disciplined, and data‑driven, underpinned by genuine relationships and a deep understanding of value creation across the full property lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
* Develop and execute asset strategies to maximise income, valuation and risk‑adjusted returns.
* Undertake detailed financial analysis and scenario modelling to support decision‑making.
* Collaborate with leasing, development, and finance teams to identify opportunities for repositioning, expansion or divestment.
* Lead the preparation of business plans, budgets and investment papers.
* Maintain strong relationships with key tenants, joint‑venture partners, and investors.
About you
You're commercially sharp, financially literate and thrive on complexity. You bring experience managing institutional‑grade assets – ideally with exposure to both retail and commercial sectors. You're comfortable analysing cashflows, interrogating assumptions, and presenting recommendations with clarity and conviction.
This is a role for someone who enjoys thinking at portfolio level, operating with autonomy, and contributing to the strategic direction of a highly regarded private group.
