Job Title: Mechanical Integrity Specialist
About the Role:
TWI is seeking an experienced mechanical integrity specialist to join our Fatigue and Fracture Integrity Management section.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice on fatigue and fracture design, consultancy services, and mechanical testing of materials.
They will work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions to support their integrity management decisions.
This role would suit a mechanical engineer or materials scientist with expertise in mechanical testing, structural integrity assessment, and project leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert advice on fatigue and fracture design and consultancy services
* Conduct mechanical testing of materials using standardised and bespoke methodologies
* Organise and lead projects to characterise material properties and performance
* Collaborate with clients to develop and implement integrity management strategies
Requirements:
* Master's degree or higher in mechanical engineering or a related field
* Proven experience in mechanical testing, structural integrity assessment, and project leadership
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
