Remuneration value up to p.a. (L13-L27) FT, employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%), annual leave loading, professional development allowance, motor vehicle allowance, professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., private practice arrangements, plus an Inaccessibility allowance of $13,800 per annum FT (category 6) 100% paid after twelve months completion period.
Duties / abilities
We are seeking an enthusiastic Rural Generalist to join our team in tropical North Queensland. Innisfail Hospital is a 32 bed acute care hospital staffed by Rural Generalist SMOs and trainees. We have a busy Emergency Department seeing 20k pxs per year. We have excellent critical care equipment and medical imaging capacity allowing advanced diagnostic and treatment capacity. Our inpatient unit has a 3 bed High Dependency allowing limited critical care capacity locally. Our Obstetric SMOs work with MGP midwives delivering > 200 babies per year with a LCSC rate of 25%. A collaborative environment exists with weekly multidisciplinary antenatal case conference and monthly multidisciplinary instrumental birth case review. Apply now!
