Ground Handling Operations Specialist
This role involves performing ramp operations and eventually check-in, undertaking all tasks associated with the ground handling of aircraft.
You will receive training in basic functions of your role, and over time be progressively introduced to more complex functions and procedures.
The position requires a reliable and enthusiastic candidate who is physically fit, able to lift at least 32kgs, and willing to work rotating shifts including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and public holidays.
The successful candidate will also require a valid WA driver's licence, reliability, punctuality, and excellent time management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* B baggage and freight handling
* Operation of airport equipment
* Loading and offloading aircraft holds
* Aircraft marshalling and dispatch
* Preparation of manifests and flight documentation
* Assisting passengers with special requirements
* Cabin cleaning
* Maintaining accurate flight records
Requirements:
* Fluent in spoken and written English
* Valid WA driver's licence
* Reliability, punctuality, and excellent time management
* Physical fitness (able to lift at least 32kgs)
* Able to obtain an ASIC card
* Willing to work rotating shifts
* Pass Drug and Alcohol tests
Benefits:
* $31 to $33 per hour plus shift loading and super
* Rotating roster (25-30 hours per week after training)
