We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager and Site Supervisor to join our growing team and oversee the successful delivery of our projects. Working closely with subcontractors and the broader project team, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
QDC is a national builder experiencing exciting growth, with a strong pipeline of Industrial and Commercial projects across Western Australia and interstate. As we continue to expand, we are building a new project team of high-performing professionals committed to delivering construction excellence.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading daily site operations and driving the safe, timely, and high-quality delivery of D&C projects. You will provide strong onsite leadership, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure works are executed in line with program, quality, and safety expectations.
What Managing a QDC Site Looks Like:
* Ensuring safe effective supervision of all onsite construction activities across D&C projects
* Lead site inductions, toolbox talks, daily site checks, and actively monitor high-risk works
* Assist with input to design for constructability and project innovation
* Coordinate resourcing and scheduling of multi-disciplinary subcontractors at all stages of the project, comfortable managing multiple work fronts simultaneously
* Collaborate closely with the project team while also working independently to delegate and direct site activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery
* Utilise and adapt to site management systems and software, including Procore
* Active problem-solving and creative solutions orientation is essential
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and the wider project team
What You Need To Excel In The Role
* Senior Site Manager: Minimum 7+ years of experience, with a solid trade or engineering background
* Site Supervisor: Minimum 3+ years of experience, with a solid trade or engineering background
* Experience managing/supervising D&C projects, preferably in an industrial and commercial sector – value up to $70M+
* Knowledge of Australian Building Codes and Safety Standards
* Safety leadership focusing on behaviours and buy-in from all
* Strong expertise in civil, concrete, and structural works
* A problem-solver who leads and influences teams, and delivers high-quality projects
* Willingness to adapt and challenge the status quo
