About the Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Engineering Management Systems Manager to lead and manage a team to ensure seamless and cohesive delivery of IT services, maintaining high operational standards. The successful candidate will engage with internal and external stakeholders, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and empower team members through structured coaching and training.
* Lead and manage a team to deliver quality and cost-effective systems to support BAE Systems Australia or the customer.
* Engage with internal and external stakeholders to provide exceptional customer service and technical support.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging automation and best practices to enhance system performance, governance, and compliance.
* Empower and develop team members through structured coaching, training, and performance management.
* Foster a collaborative, innovative, and results-driven culture, ensuring accountability and excellence in service delivery.
* Review and amend short and long-term resource planning and advise on leveraging existing and new systems and technologies.
About You
We are looking for an experienced professional with:
* Proven experience in IT delivery roles or similar senior leadership positions.
* Demonstrated exposure to multiple or complex domain analysis, with experience in Windchill or similar PLM Tools highly regarded.
* Good understanding of Java development and application foundation highly regarded.
* Good understanding of Dimensional Modelling and Data Warehousing highly regarded.
* Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate, develop, and manage a high-performing technical team.
* Deep understanding of service delivery frameworks, ITIL principles, and industry best practices for enterprise collaboration platforms.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to drive process improvements and platform enhancements.
* Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to engage effectively with stakeholders and executive leadership.
