Children's Social Care Solicitor
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Children's Social Care Solicitor to join our team in Knowsley on a temporary contract basis.
Job Summary
This is a full-time role that requires the successful candidate to work on a variety of cases related to children's social care. The solicitor will be responsible for providing legal advice, representing clients in court, and ensuring that all cases are handled efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert legal advice to clients and internal stakeholders on matters related to children's social care.
* Represent clients in court, advocating on their behalf to ensure the best possible outcome.
* Conduct thorough research and analysis of cases to identify key issues and develop effective strategies.
* Collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers and psychologists, to ensure a comprehensive understanding of each case.
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of all cases, including correspondence, court documents, and outcomes.
Requirements:
* Qualified solicitor with significant experience in children's social care law.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and external partners.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
* Up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and policies, including the Children Act 1989 and the Care Act 2014.
