As we continue to grow, we’re investing in smarter systems, better processes, and strong financial foundations - and we’re now looking for a Credit Officer to join our Finance team.
Reporting to the Senior Credit Controller, this role will support the day-to-day credit and collections process, helping ensure customer accounts are managed accurately, payments are followed up on time, and rebate items are tracked and resolved.
This role is ideal for someone with early experience in credit or accounts receivable, or a finance professional looking to grow their skills in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
🧾 What You’ll Be Doing
Credit & Collections Support
* Assist with managing customer accounts and following up outstanding balances
* Make outbound collection calls and send follow-up emails
* Support payment arrangements and keep accurate notes on accounts
* Help monitor aged receivables and flag overdue or high-risk accounts
* Escalate issues to senior team members in line with credit policies
Accounts & Ledger Support
* Review ageing reports and help identify overdue accounts
* Assist with basic reporting on receivables and payment trends
* Investigate customer queries, disputes, or delays in payment
* Maintain accurate account records and support cash application processes
Rebates & Adjustments
* Help track rebate-related receivables and outstanding adjustments
* Assist with reconciling rebate claims and following up aged items
* Flag delays or issues to the Senior Credit Controller for review
Process & Team Support
* Support improvements to billing, credit, and rebate processes
* Help document procedures and keep systems up to date
* Work closely with Sales, Finance, and Operations to resolve account queries
Compliance & Accuracy
* Ensure all notes, calls, and communications are accurately recorded
* Follow internal policies and Australian Consumer Law guidelines
* Support consistent and compliant credit practices across the business
You Must Have
* 2–3 years’ experience in credit, accounts receivable, finance admin, or a similar role
* Comfortable using Google Sheets for basic reporting and tracking
* Experience with Xero, Salesforce, or similar systems
* Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
* Confident communicator who’s comfortable speaking with customers
* Willingness to learn, improve processes, and grow within the finance team
* Exposure to rebate programs or incentives is a bonus, but not required
