As an Open Space Maintenance Officer, you'll play a key role in maintaining and enhancing some of Cardinia's most iconic public spaces including Officer District Park and Level Crossing Removal Projects, ensuring they remain safe, beautiful, and welcoming for our community.
If you're passionate about horticulture and want to make a visible impact in a small, supportive team, this is your chance to grow your career in a meaningful way.You will make an impact byMaintaining and presenting parks, gardens, and open spaces to a high standard.Performing horticultural tasks such as mowing, pruning, and planting.Responding to customer requests with professionalism and care.Operating and maintaining equipment safely and efficiently.Supporting landscape improvement projects across the Shire.What you will bringCertificate III or higher in Horticulture or Landscaping.Hands-on experience in gardening, mowing, and grounds maintenance.Ability to interpret and work from landscape and horticultural plans.Strong understanding of safe work practices and OH&S requirements.MR Driver's Licence (or willingness to obtain).
Basic computer skills and comfort using mobile technology.Relevant certifications such as Chemical Users Accreditation, Traffic Management, and White Card.Ready to make a difference in your community?
