**About your new role**:
We have an exciting opportunity for an Allied Health professional to step into a pivotal leadership role with the Hunter Brain Injury Service (HBIS). As the Service Manager, you'll lead a dynamic team dedicated to delivering exceptional care and support to clients on their path to recovery following a brain injury. The HBIS team do incredible work providing a mixture of outpatient, outreach, and community residential care. You will be working with a multidisciplinary team including Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Social Workers, Neuropsychologists, Dietitians, Clinical Psychologist, Rehabilitation Assistants, Administration and Housekeeping staff.
You would play a pivotal role in empowering and developing the HBIS team, using and building upon your existing leadership and management skills. The team has a focus on quality improvement and innovative practices, you would be involved in explore new ideas to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes. This role is supported by the Director Allied Health Greater Newcastle & Lower Hunter Integrated Care Services and be part of a collaborative Allied Health Managers Group. There is also the opportunity to build your network and connect with other Brain Injury Unit service managers across NSW.
**Where You'll Be Working**:
The Hunter Brain Injury Service is 1 of 15 state-wide specialist rehabilitation services for adult clients who have experienced a traumatic brain injury. This is a unique service, with an experienced multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality care to those who have experienced a brain injury. Located in the vibrant Bar Beach area of Newcastle you can enjoy the convenience of nearby beaches, shops, cafes, and public transport. Whilst the service is based in Bar Beach Newcastle, outpatient, outreach, and community residential care is provided to those who live in the Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Lower & Upper Hunter, Port Stephens, Greater Taree, and Central Coast areas.
