Job Description
As the Compliance Analyst, you will play a key role in safeguarding recruitment integrity by monitoring adherence to approved processes, conducting spot checks and reviews, and flagging non-compliance for correction. You will act as a vital link between policy owners and operational staff, they embed updates effectively while preparing clear compliance reports and insights for leadership. Additionally, support audits, validate candidate documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement by sharing lessons learned and best practices.
You will:
* Conduct spot checks, case reviews, and sampling of recruitment activities to confirm alignment with approved processes.
* Flag and document instances where procedures are not being followed and provide feedback to operational managers for correction.
* Maintain a library of compliance checklists, templates, and reference guides for operational teams.
* Monitor policy updates relevant to recruitment operations, ensuring operational teams are briefed and supported to update their owned processes.
* Track that work instructions, SOPs, and guidance notes are revised and reissued promptly after policy change.
* Act as a conduit between policy owners and recruitment staff to embed changes efficiently.
* Ensure staff are informed and trained on new or updated policies and processes.
* Prepare concise compliance reports and operational insights for leadership.
* Provide evidence and records to support Defence assurance requirements when requested.
* Support candidate file reviews to confirm accuracy and completeness against process standards.

Your background will demonstrate:
* Experience in an operational support, compliance, or process assurance role.
* Ability to interpret policies and translate them into practical requirements for frontline teams.
* High attention to detail with proven ability to identify errors, gaps, or deviations.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills to engage both frontline staff and leadership.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with tracking and reporting tools.
* Exposure to Defence, recruitment, or other regulated operational environments is desirable.
* Knowledge of compliance frameworks (ISO 9001, quality assurance, operational audits) will be advantageous.
* Experience supporting training or awareness activities.
