Western Work Force is an Australian owned company based in Perth, Western Australia. We are a market leader in providing temporary, contract and permanent staffing solutions across many industry sectors throughout Australia.
Our client is a leading WA Agricultural/Farming operation and due to business growth, there is now an exciting opportunity for a Property Supervisor to join their growing team. This position is offered on a permanent basis with an immediate start available. Our client will also consider sponsorship for the right candidate.
Key duties and responsibilities:
Coordinate maintenance of all non-farming infrastructure and plant including housing, offices, kitchens and related items.
Coordination of maintenance schedules to ensure that farm properties are well maintained, and housing projects completed within set timeframes.
Performing regular property inspections and reporting any significant issues to the Farm Manager.
Vendor and Contractor Management including obtaining competitive bids, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the work is completed satisfactorily.
Contribute to the budgeting and financial reporting of the Farm Manager by maintaining accurate financial records.
Management of the Maintenance Crew (both hours worked and work outputs).
First point of contact for Farm Managers requiring the services of the Maintenance Crew.
Approving and processing Purchase Orders within delegated authority and in line with required processes.
Co-ordinate and control of issues relating to Land Conservation and MFPL land in general.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures (including Work Health & Safety issues).
Key skills, experience and qualifications required:
Previous experience gained in a Property Maintenance/Handy-man or similar position
Excellent knowledge in the repair, maintenance and installation of property/utility equipment
Contribution to positive work environment and culture
Ability to work under pressure and maintain focus
Ability to maintain efficient work ethic
Driver's licence
