Marketing, Events & Communications Assistant
I am supporting one of my clients—an established, high-calibre investment firm—to support them in finding a talented Marketing, Events & Communications Assistant to join their team. About the Role
This is a varied, creative and operational role where you will support the planning, delivery and polish of the firm's marketing, communications and investor-facing activities. You will be entrusted with meaningful ownership, end-to-end projects and the chance to shape how a respected investment brand shows up in the world.
Key Responsibilities
Event Management
* End-to-end responsibility for premium investor and client events - no detail too small, exercising judgement and managing to budget and outcome
* Supplier management, venue liaison, contracts, budgets and timelines
* Creating thoughtful, bespoke experiences for a wide range of audiences
* Bringing creative ideas to life while ensuring flawless delivery
Administration & Operations
* Budget tracking, diary coordination and logistics management
* Preparation of stakeholder briefing packs, agendas and detailed run sheets
* Serving as an organisational anchor with exceptional polish and attention to detail
* A service mindset consistent with the ethos of 'Unreasonable Hospitality'
Marketing & Communications
* Drafting, editing and reviewing marketing materials and written content
* Creating video briefs, proofreading communications, supporting collateral and content development
* Exercising strong judgement, clarity and maturity in all work
* Upholding a bespoke, artisan approach—never churn, templates or generic AI content
* Creating event invites - if you can do this in Photoshop or Indesign even better

About You
You are someone who brings initiative, curiosity and pride in doing things well.
You will likely have:
* A degree or background in business, marketing, communications, journalism or a related field
* Exceptional writing, editing and organisational skills
* A proactive, service-driven mindset and the ability to work with discretion and maturity
* A desire to learn, contribute and grow in a sophisticated financial services environment
Skills that would be highly regarded include:
* Experience with InDesign or Photoshop
* Hands-on events management experience
* Prior EA or administrative experience supporting senior stakeholders
