**The Opportunity**
If you are passionate about advocating for women experiencing domestic and/or family violence, this is the role for you!
You will support women in reporting breaches of intervention orders, liaise with SAPOL with concerns relating to intervention orders whilst making appropriate referrals to legal and other support services for women dealing with complex legal matters. You will also assist women in negotiating the break of lease tenancy matters through SACAT.
**Total Indicative Remuneration Package**
$97,898 - $105,037 per annum pro rata including salary, superannuation and leave loading.
As a not-for-profit organisation, Legal Services is able to offer its employees attractive salary sacrifice arrangements, including up to $15,900 pre-tax each Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT) year for general living expenses.
**Term of Employment**
12 month temporary contract available at LSC2 classification level.
**What You Need for Success**
- Possess minimum of two (2) years post admission legal experience.
- Demonstrated ability in supporting women experiencing domestic and family violence.
- Work and communicate effectively with persons from a wide range of backgrounds including understanding, and responding appropriately to cultural, ethnic and indigenous differences and to persons living with a disability.
- Knowledge of referral pathways for those experiencing coercive control including crisis support services, and social support services and legal services.
