Technical Support Specialist
This role requires the ability to provide technical IT support to various departments and their staff through multiple communication channels. The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to communicate with influence and adapt to diverse stakeholder needs.
Responsibilities:
* Provide technical assistance to different departments via telephone, email, face-to-face, and remote means.
* Manage stakeholders and relationships with customers at various levels, ensuring satisfaction and confidence.
* Install, maintain, and troubleshoot ICT hardware, software, and peripherals.
* Administer Windows Operating Systems and 365 systems, including build preparation and maintenance.
* Perform administrative tasks using Microsoft Access controls and deploy software on Mobile Iron.
* Manage queues and resolve Incidents and Service Requests using the department's service management tool.
* Compile and troubleshoot issues before engaging internal support teams for resolution.
* Train new staff to ensure consistency in expectations and service delivery.
* Contribute to performance and learning discussions, as well as opportunities for service improvement and knowledge base development.
Requirements:
* Must be an Australian Citizen.
* Hold NV1 security clearance.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to communicate with influence and adapt to diverse stakeholder needs.
* Experience delivering outcomes independently and responding to ICT inquiries from stakeholders.
* Proven leadership experience, focusing on building a positive culture and ensuring client satisfaction.
* Experience implementing and driving training for new staff.
* Ability to provide high-quality advice and client service on ICT matters.
* Experience working in a support environment, particularly with Microsoft products.
* Demonstrated people skills and ability to engage authentically with stakeholders.
* Skills and experience in managing competing priorities and anticipating stakeholder needs.
