Role Description
The Pharmacist-in-Charge role is a permanent, full-time, on-site position based in Ballina, NSW. This is a compounding-only pharmacy with no retail component. Compounding is carried out by experienced laboratory technicians - your role is clinical oversight, not bench work. Day-to-day responsibilities include QC checking and releasing preparations, reviewing prescriptions, consulting with prescribers, and supporting patients with queries about their compounded medications. Prescribers include GPs, NPs, optometrists, vets, and dentists. Full on-the-job training is provided.
Qualifications
* Current AHPRA registration as a pharmacist, in good standing
* Strong attention to detail and a high standard of pharmacy practice
* Clear verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work independently and support a small team
* Experience in community or clinical pharmacy
* Compounding experience is an advantage but not required
