About the role
Join the team at TOODYAY Bakery as a full-time Baker in our growing bakery located in the country town of Toodyay, WA, 45 Minutes east of Perth Metro. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of high-quality baked goods to delight our customers.
What you'll be doing
* Mixing, kneading, and shaping dough for breads, pastries, and other baked goods
* Operating commercial baking equipment to bake and finish products according to recipes and customers' orders
* Ensuring all baked goods meet company quality and presentation standards
* Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
* Collaborating with the team to enhance our product range and improve processes
What we're looking for
* Valid work visa or Australian work rights required for this position
* Minimum 2 years' experience as a Baker in a commercial bakery setting
* Artisan bakery experience preferred for commercial bakery positions
* Strong knowledge of baking techniques, recipes, and food safety regulations
* Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Passion for creating delicious baked goods and providing exceptional customer service
* Sourdough and Artisan experience will be highly regarded
* Willingness to work early mornings and weekends as required
* Willingness to relocate.
* 40 Hours per week
